Last exam out of the way! I can finally graduate! (As long as I pass that is :P)

Well, moments ago I just completed my final examinations towards my Bachelor of Commerce.

So 4 and a half years later, multiple summer schools, two dropped degrees (Bachelor of Management Studies and Bachelor of Laws at Waikato) , four different majors changed (Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law) and two universities (Waikato and Canterbury) later I finally finish my 3 year Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management. An interesting sensation to finish that last closing remark, in that last essay, in that last exam of your degree. Not the joy that I had been expecting, but instead a sense of relief and the thought running through my head of "finally...."

Looking back at my Uni studies, I dont think I will fully appreciate what I have learnt from my studies for a while to come. And although it has taken me a lot longer than expected to get the first degree out the way, looking back over the past few years it has been well worth it. If it wasnt for all the time spent at Uni I wouldnt be able to be what I am doing now. The past 4.5 years has enabled me to be an EB member at Waikato LC, a National Support Team member, an MCVP ICX, an LCP at Canterbury LC, and now only 3 days away from becoming the MCP of AIESEC New Zealand. Would I want to redo the past few years and just focus on my studies and probably be completing a Masters by now? Hell no! The one thing I do appreciate right now is that I have learnt a lot more from the experiences outside of the classroom over the past few years than I ever would have in the classroom!

Am really looking forward to the year ahead, working with my team of girls, and making the most of the limited time we will have. And as for studies, although one degree is out of the way it isnt over. Soon I will start part-time studies at yet another University :P. Only one more University to go and then I would have studied at half of all the Universities in NZ :P hahaha
